Rev. Dr. Juna Mackey-Padilla has over 20 years experience as a Registered Nurse, Administrator, and University Professor. During this time, Dr. Mackey-Padilla (Dr. Nay) developed distinguished literature as a conference speaker and writer. In 2005, she transitioned from Nursing to become the CEO of her company, M.O.V.E. Empowerment Services, designed to Motivate Others to Victory and Empowerment (M.O.V.E.).
Dr. Nay received her Bachelors in Nursing from James Madison University a Masters and PhD, in Nursing Administration, from George Mason University and a Honorary Doctorate from Eastern North Carolina Theological Institute (now known as Eastern Carolina Christian College and Seminary). She is currently completing her PhD in Ministry at Christian Bible College and Seminary, Blue Springs, MO.
She wrote her first book in 2006 entitled, "E-mails that MOVE". While ill from 2008-2018, she wrote many books and has published "Inspired" and "Sistah Girl A thru Z" in 2020 during the pandemic. In 2022, she also published and dedicated a book and journal to her mom, Rev. Dr. Willia Mackey, entitled, "Pray Without Ceasing: Prayer Works". There are many more books to come in the future.
Dr. Nay is a CEO, Entrepreneur, Authorpreneur, Author Coach, International Motivational/Conference Speaker, Author, Poet, and Minister. She is a member of the American Society of Journalist and Authors the National Academy of Poets a speaker for the Innovative Women and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She is also a mother, sister, aunt and friend who desires to Motivate Others to Victory and Empowerment (M.O.V.E.).
